At Wainscott Woods Retreat, our standalone cottage offers the rare combination of full home amenities wrapped in the peaceful, wooded beauty of Wainscott’s most treasured landscape.
The Algonquin Cottage is our most expansive and self-sufficient offering — a fully equipped standalone retreat rooted in the ancient history and natural wisdom of Long Island’s first people. Cedar-shingled on the outside and soaring and light-filled within, this spacious cottage sleeps up to four guests and comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator, electric range with oven, and a full complement of cookware, dinnerware, and cutlery. Here, you can go straight from the local farmers market to a home-cooked meal without missing a beat.
